Rode Owlhead today and got an early start. Low on fuel by 2pm and had to call it a day. A thank you to the club for the nicely groomed trails. We didn’t see a single person until we stopped at the cabin on the way out. Fresh tracks all day but the snow was bit heavy, beauty day!

I second the cooker can. Why do you need more power out of the 850? They already rip. It sounds great and a warm meal in the backcountry, nothing better!

I bought the BCA bag last year. No complaints and works great with the Linq system. Easy on and off.

Is there a staging area north of Whitefish Lake? Never been sledding down there before, and wondering what areas nearby are decent.

The 2 main areas are Foggy Day and Rue de Beaux (not sure on spelling). If you have GPS you don’t really need a guide.
