Got looking at our sled keys last night. We both have SR Viper mtx's, same year, bought from the same dealership, at the same time. Our keys are identical. Same key code stamped on both of them. I know there are only so many combinations they can use, but the odds of 2 keyed identical sleds...
Oh, maybe I got it figured. Pain in the ass new technology crap. Whatever happened to the good old chisel & rock? Anyhow, if this works here they are. The Blue one is the better half's. I'm calling it the Blue Beast. The White one is mine, and the only name I came up with for it is sure to...
Decision made, and picked up the replacements. We were pretty sure we were going to go back to the grizzly's. Too many trouble free miles on our old ones to justify trying something else. The Grizzly's has done everything exceptionally well that we use them for. Did take a bold step, and I went...
I have to pay better attention, just saw your post today. Sorry for the super long delay on responding. There are no time of year restrictions anywhere around here. Every where is good to go 365 days a year.
As for river crossings at that time of year, it depends on the year. Our snowfall...
As some of you have seen by my post in the stolen atv section, we were victims of a theft. Both our 2012 Grizzly 700's were stolen, and subsequently written off by insurance.
Once we bought those quads, I stopped paying attention to who was doing what in the atv market. Our Grizzly's did...
Update. The RCMP found them stashed in a swamp behind the condos somewhere, and retrieved them. Tip of the hat to them for doing so.
Would like to let everyone know that while my quads were being stolen, the thiefs dropped their bear spray. I guess the thiefs feel they need to defend...
I rode mine last year in pretty skinny snow. Was taking it easy, and it was about -15 or so. Fan came on several times, but never had a high temp light come on.
Swiped out of the back yard last night. Assuming they are long gone by now. No real unique features about them. Both had 26-9-12 and 26-11-12 Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires on them. Both had black plastic storage boxes bolted to the rear rack. Heat Demon handwarmers, and 1 had a GPS unit mounted to...
Great advice everyone, especially the links, and brands. Never heard of them before, but knowing more if what's out there is never a bad thing.
I never mentioned it in my initial post, as my mind was wandering when I wrote it, but I was going to ask how the aluminum stood up to cracking...
I have no problem travelling for the right deal. If I were to buy from the closest place to me it's a 4 hr round trip. Life in an isolated small town dictates travelling for just about anything aside from the basics.
My old utility trailer just isn't cutting it anymore. It's fine for short trips from town, but I have no faith in using it to do a few trips out Valemount/McBride way. It's an old tent trailer, and can only handle the weight of 1 machine, and I'm buying 2 tires for it every year because they...
