    Busted Clutch Bolt

    I ended up heating it up and it popped off. The bolt then easily came out. Was a bit nervous at the time of breakage, but a few beers calmed the nerves.

    WTF do I do now. I busted the Skidoo Primary Clutch Removal Bolt inside the Clutch/Crank. FAK me. Help Please.

    New to me sled

    Agreed, the flat land riding is way better with some kid of windshield. There are many different cans. I bought mine from Specialty Sleds in Edmonton. Good guys to deal with and they know their stuff about sleds. Always nice to pick their brains.

    I read that, but I figure paying 1 hr shop time is better then 2hrs. But when I get finished, I'll probably be in for 5 hrs and lots of parts . hahah, they win in the end

    New to me sled

    Here's your checklist: Vent Clutch Side - simple and effective. Take out Sway Bar - way more fun. Skid Plate - No BS'n this saves damages of something, now that you took the sway bar out, you'll be more loosy goosy steering. Frog Skins - Cover all Factry Vent Holes, still cools machine...

    2012 Skidoo Etec 800 Throttle replacement Anyone have any tips on and easy way to replace the throttle cable. I got the airbox off, but before I start ripping into it, looking for any insight if somebody has done it already. Thanks.

    Tried Salmon Lake today, between the willows and not enough snow we stopped at the side hill, cabin down below on right. Need a good good dump of snow to get up and in.

    M8 Steering post

    Has anyone beef'd up their steering post? I seen a couple times now, after a riser, snapping the post just below the weld and wondering how to pre-correct this from happening.
