Re: Do yow wear an Avalanche Air Bag in the Mountains
I use an Avalung but I'll pickup up a avibag this or next year. Some of the bags are a bit small though...I need something that has room for an extra 20-30L of room and I find some bag don't have that.
I've never rented from GSR but Mikey at Snow Peaks is awesome because of the new gear but he's also an awesome guide. I have my own sleds now but still stop in and ask him where's good to ride.
I went up the waterfall the week before last (dec 13th) and it was technical but if you didn't spin your track you could get up fine. Had an awesome time up there but didn't make it into the alpine due to the weather and avi risk. I don't know if anyone has tracked the alpine but if they did you...
Hey everybody, I'm not new to snowmobiling or this site but I've never introduced myself.
Hi!
Now that we got that over, I live in Edmonton and like to sled around Golden, I've been to Revy once but IMHO, the best sledding is around Sicamous/The Shuswap.
It's Ski-doos or nothing on my trailers...
Two words: Narrow Hills. Was up there on Sat and there's about 14" and it was snowing when I left. I think more is on the way this weekend.
Trails were in decent shape but watch the ditches casue there's no base. The best snow was on the lakes.
If you want more you gotta go up to LaRonge or go...
