It almost looks to me like the locator pins are missing on that damaged piston. Can you confirm this? If those pins are gone then I suspect the rings turn on the piston till the end gags were exposed in the exhaust port and one ring caught the port , broke and forced the piston seizure.
Just saw this sorry for late reply. With the dropin Kit I found it runs the best at 8400. Pulls hard there. If you run it at 8200 or lower I feel it is just slightly better then stock but 8400 theres a good seat of the pants feel in gain there. Don't need a dyno for my butt to feel the...
I have a turbo 800 pro but with a 163 2.5 peaks track. I also have the tied secondary and so far have found that the straight 63 seems to be working well. Still need another trip to fine tune it yet but here it is.
Primary dalton weights with 3 - 3.5 grams added and weights are 70 gram base...
I have the dropin kit as well and found that you need to have at least 8300 to get the full benifit of the drop in kit at full throttle. I have mine running at 8400 and it pulls harder then at 8200. What secondary setup are you running and what weights are you using? Mine is a 12 pro 800.
I have Kelseys dropin kit installed in my 800 pro with the a boondocker turbo added later and just changed the domes to a turbo dome. Have about 200 miles on it now with the turbo and it runs extremely well. So far I am really happy with this setup.
Mine Leaked out of the hose a few weeks after I bought mine. Turned out to be the water pump. It would leak when running but not when it was sitting. Warranty covered mine. I would get it fix as soon as possible cause it will just get worse and could leave you stranded.
hi all A friend of mine and i are thinking of going quadding at Alberta beach on Sunday Jan 11. Just wondering if we can quad there now or is the snow getting deep. If so where is the staging area at. I have not been to Alberta beach so any help is welcome.
Thanks Mongrol. I'll probrably just stick to cutlines in alberta for a while till i get comfortable with the rhino and tracks then maybe venture out to some areas in B.C.
Where is Riondel anyways?
"If you want a legitimate reason for not mixing quads and sleds, try the difference in travelling speeds. A lot of sled riders use the groomed trails as thier personal Autobahn and nothing could be worse than a 70 mph sled meeting a 25 mph tracked quad."
Good point Mongrol, Didn't really think...
I can understand wheeled quads causing more grief but i thought with tracks quads that it would be very similar to snowmobiles for groomer matainence
Can anybody else clarify.
