I got my new one in but haven't installed it because the epoxy job i did works pretty good,, and I don't need to worry about smashing a fixed smashed one lol. So who's the first person to blow a belt on this new design? how many km's? or maybe no one has blown one yet.
I already broke my left side clutch breather screen, I'm not sure how, I probably kicked it. I think it was $30 so not that bad. Also my black turbo vent crunched against a tree in a turbo wheelie that went outta control,,for how hard i hit that big tree, I'm surprised at how little damage...
Imagine being an insurance adjuster and all the weird and bogus chit you get to see lol...Im just guessing here,, but the snow is starting to pile up soon, he's been stuck inside for too long witht this cold weather and needs a new sled.
Have had better results with 91 octane fuel too. When we fill up at Petro on hi way 1 with 94 octane they seam to rev a bit higher,,I've seen 8300 a couple times,, not good.
Ya I'm over reving on clicker 1 still. I think ill try making the lower gear 1-2 teeth smaller, load the engine sounds about right. I watched a couple of Tom Walter's videos, he's got lots of info that helps make sense of things.
I've got big hands and i really like the new thin bars, when i ride my buddies sled with the older style bars I definitely don't like that.
I would say don't ride finger throttle unless your hands/wrists are fawked or something. I've tried finger throttle too many times, trying to like them...
I remember back in the dirt bike offroad days when everyone had high lifted handle bars rolled forward,,me too lol. My lower back hurt, made no sense,, until I lowered my bars and also rolled them back towards me,, now I love that setup. With sledding it's different, but I still like a bit...
I kinda had the same issues last year and I think it has to do with clutching. The sled would be over reving a bit and i think would load up somehow (in the cylinder or pipe?) and then i would go down into a turn when the track loads up and Wham! big fire ball backfire or big bog. Now that I...
i think it's an excuse to get together have a fire and camp in middle of nowhere,,an excuse to be lazy and not work,,well and be psycho together. There's no way they are all lasting out there that long anyways. They will need supplies that come from the "system", probably have to fill up gas...
In hero snow and spring like conditions i would prefer a NA over a turbo. They are lighter and have enough power to go anywhere,,,,but,, they don't make the whistle and waste gate sound,, so nope, I want the turbo all the time! I'm so addicted to those sounds. Just like sex, the sounds add a...
