yes they are an automotive type on the left side of your airbox. Pricey at the dealer but should be changed out once in a while. there should be a recomendation for milage for when to change.

used to pull the back blocks on the xtra-10 suspension that was in the first rmks. uncoupling the back sissor gives more weight transfer to the back. should be no prob on the SB but be ready for some real light steering when under power.

Tried them all and hands down the best I've had are True Adventure Gear Gloves not sure of the model. Warm gauntlet gloves with single layer on the palm for great grip. And will slip on and off if your hands are wet.
compare eye to eye measurements and see if they are the same. I wouldn't doubt they are the same shock. Did you try screwing in the little screw at the bottom or is it missing? It can sometimes back out and you will have nothing.
