$hit, you near have me a heart attack fella, mentioning Darryl's name in your damn coded lingo with Walter Gretzky I thought something happened to him that I hadn't heard about yet. I'll pm you the # for his shop. Yes he's still down by Dewinton
What dealer are you working with Summitizer that took the time to help? My dealer is taking a very different approach and my opinion is that of Maxwell's, They completely missed the Mark with weight in these sleds, I'm often seeing as high as 8300 sustained rpm.
Not sure if you replied to the wrong post or misread what I wrote there fella, I don't have a cat, haven't for many years. Maybe to a smaller person the 850T feels heavier but I do not notice it, I am not running a can on the 21 nor did I on the 20.5, no need to, they are near perfectly...
How small of a human are ya fella? I had folks of all brand loyalties and all sizes on the demo last year and nobody mentioned anything about it feeeling heavy, quite the opposite if anything. This year I've put 4 days on my '21 and I have to say it feels even more nimble than the 20.5's. So...
After riding the demo 850t most of last year I snow checked one in a 165 X. So far I've Rode the big storm 4' of pow two weeks ago and rode the settled but decent snow last week. First impressions after 250km, 37% break in remaining, occasional over rev, will maybe need to add a hair more...
I wish them luck with that, I encourage as many people as possible to get out sledding this weekend and enjoy our lands. Let your mla's know that this is not acceptable and let Devin Dreeshen know he needs to leave fire bans to individual counties just as it always has been.
I understand the reasons that guys quit and I also understand that sledding around home has its place and can be fun, especially with the fam, but when I'm out west and break into a new Zone where there's no tracks, lord knows if there's ever been a human there before, and the boys work there...
Currently have 1967km on the Gateway Sales and Service demo and no issues thus far, not even a belt. Only complaint I would have is there needs to be some sort of snow flap option for spring type trails, I have had to stop and pile snow on the tunnel a few times to keep it from getting too hot...
Cut your spacer in half, centre the spindle on the ski with half of the spacer on either side and you won't have anymore problems, no it doesn't make any difference to how it handles
I own an '18 175 with the spindle update, new seat etc, but have spent most of the year on a demo 165 850T from the good folks at Gateway Sales and Service in Rocky Mountain house. Obviously the n\a to turbo skews me towards the demo but overall I have to say that with the fine tuning this...
Additional coverage for the third year is in the $2000 range. IMHO it's not worth it, like anything, most issues will show themselves early and this setup seems bulletproof so far. Unless your a 3000+ km/year rider I think the two year is sufficient. Happy snowchecking and if anyone is shopping...
Sorry Bobsledder, I shouldn't have painted all of Bc with the same orange brush, I know there's still good people like you out there it's just frustrating that small local dealers are struggling on both sides of the border and even shutting down while these guys with money think it's cool to...
