    I went from my CT70, XR250, XR600, YZ250,YZ426,WR450 and now just picked up a KTM300XC-W. Best of both worlds with the KTM. 2-stroke with the 4-stroke powerband and 220lbs and electric start/kickstand. The 4 strokes are way to much $ to maintain. Back to the $300 rebuilds after 200hrs!

    High idle is a lean condition. Popping can be lean or rich. Popping on decelleration is a rich condition.

    what year BF? If it is an 05/06 it could be your wiring harness below your seat is starting to corrode. I had the same issue and soldered all the wires where there was a connector and all was good afterwards.

    The muzzy is a much better pipe IMO. I have both and the muzzy gives better power gains and a nicer low rumble which is not to obnoxious. The only benefit I do see from the HMF utility series is the fact that you do not have to repack the exhaust with the fibrefill like you do the muzzy.
