Finally had a chance to post a few of the pics from out spring ride, post 25+ inches of snow last saturday. Powder turns all the way up the S. Plateau trail. Got to love going from pow shots in April to 90 degrees on a golf coarse the next day.

I've preached it all season, spring is the new pink. Went from t-shirt riding with a tan this past Tuesday to almost 3 feet of snow for the ride today! Blackbear snotel site: from 108 inches to 126 inches! Madison Plateau snotel site: from 69 inches to 96 inches!!! Its going to be a POW DAY...
Been getting some snow the past couple days. Rain down low. Showing aroung 6-8 inches so far. Looks like the next clearing will be Monday, with an additional 6-12 inches by then possible. Hoping for at least a foot and blue skies by then for another powder ride. Anyone trying to use the Big...
Here is a video link that the GNF Avalanche Center had posted today on the Lionshead avalanche a few days ago. Multiple shots of more than one sled on the slope at a time. Glad to see everyone was OK, but VERY LUCKY to be so!

Some Pics from our ride into the northern mountains two days ago. Been warm & windy since then making some good spring type riding yesterday. Looking at another possible 4-8 inches today, says the weather guru's. Then back to riding in light jackets for a projected week of sunny skies and...
Going to be worth it! Great snow out right now. Be safe while your here. Supposed to warm up starting tuesday, so hopefully it doesn't ruin what we have. More coming Tues/Wednesday!
All out blizzard yesterday. Got anywhere from 8-12 inches around West. Anyone that has been holding out for good DEEP powder...Wait no longer! Here is a pic taken today from a couple of our rentals that were outside last night during the storm.
Looks like the historic H2O accumalations graph is showing up this season.
Spring is the new winter. As of last post on the West Conditions, we have seen well over two feet around West and more accumalations in the higher elevations. Avalanches have been seen in every riding area...
In bad need of an "eraser" for all the old tracks and sunbeat snow. Haven't seen a flake for almost two weeks and with a stretch of warm sunny days and cold (-20+) nights, its a bad combination for beat snow and bad weak layers for avalanches. A few flakes flying right now, but not looking...
Not a bad call. Staying in meadows guys are getting safely buried judging by the pictures from yesterdays ride. Another 4-6 inches yesterday and blue skies today is only going to compact the avi danger, so be careful out there.
