I dont have the dynajet kit, so i dont have the clips, but i have heard and read to put them on the third notch down in this area. TEX i am at about 2700 feet here.

You may have misunderstood me Tex. I can twist it back and forth, not push it back and forth. It has about of inch of play back and forth. Maybe a rod bearing?

I have this nasty ticking sound coming from my engine on my 06 brute 750. Imediatly though it was the valves, so i adjusted them, but they didnt seem that out. I did notice that when i went to turn the engine over by hand witha ratchet on the pull cord bolt that it could move it back and forth...

Do you have it chipped at all?

Really sounds like limp mode to me. Is the belt light flashing on the dash?

Rancher is right. There is a maintenance interval for the belt/clutching system every 100 hours or so. Stupid system IMO, but none the less. If everything looks fine you should be good for anothe 100 hours or so.

The almond secondary will definatly help with your downshift/backshift, but probably wont do a ton for power wise. Mine just slows down a little slower than before now.
