Taking my son for a one day trip to bell or Lucille this coming Saturday. I will be doubling him(9years old), looking for a easy ride in and nice views. I have been to renshaw lots, too long and painful to double. Thinking bell our Lucille but have never been. Suggestions welcome. If you have a kid who wonders where Dad is in the winter join us Saturday. Bring your kid to the mountains day..

I've never ridden Lucille but I have been to belle a few times. The trail in is fairly short and not steep at all really. There are some nice views and it has always been perfectly smooth every time I was there

Yep,Bell is perfect for kids.A lot of times there are toboggans left at the cabin for the adults to hurt themselves on.

Thanks guys but Snow factor too, Renshaw trail on Friday was horrible and down to the dirt. I don't like riding alone especially with my kid, really hoping I get some takers on joining me..
Bell it is, as long as the trail holds up

U won't be disappointed by belle... Good riding area, especially for the kids. Have had my kids up into all 3 areas, since they were 6. Belle is easiest overall, amd still has great challenging areas. By the way, my kids are now 23 and soon 21.... :)

Please read the discussion titled "Belle Road Logging" below. Not sure if the trucks are still in there.

We rode both this weekend. Both were in good condition. Belle would be my recommendation with your kid.

belle is holding up very well so far, parking in the lot at 5 km. logging will not affect you at all. snow was good this past weekend and it dumped overnite. the views if not overcast are great.
