Any updates from Lucille or Bell? We were at Renshaw today, trail was awesome, snow was good but heavy. It was raining below the cabin, wet snow up top. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with the cabin, great job!

In town now, highways from Edmonton to Hinton were ok, then heavy snowfall just after the park gates to about 20 km past the bc border. Drifting all over the highway, got better as you got closer to mount robson. Then just past robson the highways were wet as the temperatures got warmer. It's -1 right now and raining in town. this will make the trails a bit rough at lower elevations. I'll report on the Renshaw tomorrow when were back. drive carefully

Frig. Everytime we get a decent dump of snow. Day later rain and warm temps. Just can't catch any breaks this year.

Well we were planning to come out tomorrow for our normal mon to thurs trips but if that snow is heavy and wet. If temps drop tonight I'm guessing she's gonna be a highway out there with graves.

We rode Renshaw today had an epic day rode in the anthills all day even had to add fuel to get back down the trail. The snow was good and deep and wet and sticky. Blew my belt on the T3 3/4 into the day. Had an absolute blast. For a while the sun was even shining. The trail going down was not bad at all was quite surprised and for the snow that is still left to have fun I would have no issues riding the trail up tomorrow morning. The snow in the areas we were at was from 18" to 30" deep all day. The snow did have a crust on it from all the rain that occurred and has been pounded down a bit but with the warm temps it didn't pose any issues. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1423363159.873537.jpg

Snow was better than it was yesterday and there weren't many people on the back side today. Lots of fresh left! And the trail was in awesome shape considering the traffic and temperature! Deffinately worth the trip!

It was very warm in mcbride today. above 8 degrees. Went to Lucille today. road is the main bowl area never ventured into the butterfly. there was between six and 10 inches of snow. this area is starting to get tracked out. Sorry no pics today.

Although I did get a photo on Saturday of a snowmobile triggered avalanche in the Blackwater area just southwest of the gas stop on the North facing slope. It was about 50 m wide and ran out about 15 m. The fracture line was approximately 1/4 meter deep. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1423463208.326625.jpg

Rode renshaw today. Pretty tracked out but still found some decent snow. Weren't very far from the cabin though. I'm sure there more untouched snow further in. Snow was wet and heavy though! Can't have been much colder then -5

We rode Renshaw today as well. Trail was groomed last night and was in great condition. Thanks Rod for the great job you do grooming the trails. The cabin looks great as well. Still a work in progress, but shaping up nicely.

Any word on what Bell looks like? Heading out to ride on Friday, but I'm wondering if Bell is rideable, or if we should just head for the higher elevation at Renshaw?

Thanks to Neilsledder, I met up with him tonight and picked up the new drying racks for the cabin. He did a great job. Now off to the Powderstation to Dean for some Color.
If your by the cabin at Renshaw check it out she's looking mighty fine. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1423629477.189461.jpg

We just finished the day at Lucille. Was pretty good. Cloudy all day with a little snow and rain. Snow was really sticky and wet. Had to look for the fresh stuff but was a good day. Anyone have any updates on Renshaw? We were thinking of heading there tomorrow.

Just got back from Renshaw.. Same conditions as you had. Snow was very wet and heavy. Snowed a bit off and on during the day.
