south dore

does anybody know if the trail along the south dore river is accessible,avelanches etc.
can you get to the high alpine and the glaciers,have been there twice.
5 of us are coming out march 9th.
thanx for any info.

I have never been in there but i have been told that it is best in the spring. Again, thats just what i've been told.

If you hit a bluebird day back at the glacier in the spring; it's a ride that you will never forget. :cool:

Was there three weeks ago,incredibly low snow......4-5'less than I've ever seen going up the creek. Strange how it has so much less snow than Renshaw????but it does, there isn't even enough snow for the regular slides to cross the road!!!!:( :( Not going to try until maybe end of March as some serious snow required in the area. The glacier had huge area of bare ice/crevaces showing above lake.
