Been cleaning Owlshead for 20 yrs! Get used to it nothing changes

I have been cleaning our 3 cabins for 13 years so we are used to it but this year with no grooming this early in the year we are going up on sleds. I do expect it just trying to remind anyone still sledding to pack it out. town is basically shut down but there have been a few up.

I know its tough to stomach! Not sure why people don't take care of stuff when they don't have anything invested! It wont go over so well when they get caught

what I find troubling is the excuses they use. "I don't have room in my sled to bring back garbage" I find it had to believe that they have room to bring it up and somehow mysteriously the garbage expands exponentially. Full beer cans take up less room than empty one? Really? Which brings up the other excuse. "We leave our cans because the clubs like them and get money from recycle."

Come people get your heads out of your Azzes. Bring out what you bring in. It's really that simple.

Most folks are good,,, but it only takes 1 or 2 to get things out of control...

It will never change...

My 2 old friends look after messes like nothing...

7 truck loads of crap fits into 1 small bag when their done....

Burn Burn,,, remove left over iron and pack out...

We're on year 40 ish of this in the west country,,, quick,,, simple,,, fast...

Garbage releases the same amount of carbon in 1000 +++ years as it does in the mater of seconds when burning...

Only difference is,,, the fire idea releases it instantly instead of waiting for it to happen in 1 to 10 thousand years... lol

Good luck finding what works,,, things are pretty fast at our way of sorting things out fast,,, and we get to enjoy our free time too... ha

We ride Mcbride all the time and most days we are the last ones on the mountain. I find at the end of the day when the cabins are packed it’s easy to grab your gear and head out with out worrying about all your crap left on the tables. I can’t stand it and clean all the tables off. Before we roll out

It’s a lot easier to not give a Sh!t when you are 8 beers Deep

Thats the problem with the sport that allot of guys just dont get. The sport attracts adrenaline junkies, allot of those are in he habit of substance enhancement, once they are "enhanced" they loose their sense of what is socially correct. Then they do stupid sh*t and wonder why the average joe on the streets doesnt want them in their town.

That is a broad generalization I know, and will piss allot of guys off, but it only takes 1% of the guys being asshats and it makes everyone look bad.

Thank you for all that you and the other folks in McBride do so we can enjoy the riding every winter. Maybe one day everyone will pack there stuff down and you can report no clean up necessary. We can hope. Happy Easter.
