So anybody know the story? The conditions thread mentioned this was not there first rescue?

If they could have seen the look and worry on their dads face that Sunday morning...

I talked to Hotrod and asked him to find out a little on where they got in a jackpot! But we heard they were in Chalco Creek area or Alberta/BC. But the snowmobiles are still there so someone will have to go get them! The Renshaw is a big, big, vast area, and easy to get lost in or get in a jackpot! I’m sure they’re at home licking there wounds especially if it’s happened before. Groomer went up Saturday evening and noticed a truck still in the lot, no one on the trail or cabin. When he comes down Sars is notified and Rcs.
Lots of people been lost there before you just don’t hear about it, and not just McBride other riding areas have there problems also!

Is that a serious comment? Was their dad actually there the next day in town waiting for them? (I’m no good at detecting sarcasm though technology)

Yes. They apparently drove there through the night. They were talking with the victim services lady from the rcmp. Very distressed! A message from an inreach or spot could have saved them a lot of worrying! Not to mention the amount of cash spent on the resources to search for them.

We heard there were 3 helicopters involved.

Well I was wondering what was going on. We were up there that day and were wondering what the rcmp was heading up for. Hope everyone is ok.
