Rode Renshaw today. About 6-8 inches of fresh at minimum. Trail was in good shape.

We beat up the hills and valley to left of cabin and backside meadows. Trees along cabin meadows deep in places. Had some technical difficulties today so didn’t get to put too many miles on. More tomorrow.

Great day at Belle today. Snow off and on all day. Fresh pretty much every where. Some wind blown in places on top of lil belle and big belle. Sides, valleys and meadows were good. Made for a great day.

Rode Renshaw both days and rode untouched 1-2 feet each day. Went back to Spirit lake day one and up in the trees. Untracked. Rode today went into Weinbergers Bowl and rode good snow all day untouched. Big place lots of untracked right now. Snow is low for Renshaw but still some powder had a blast.

CO's were out at Renshaw trailhead both Saturday and Sunday, with RC's on Sunday to boot. Lots of fellas waiting in the parking lot both days haha. Checking insurance, registration, plates, the whole bit.

It’s really too bad the way they go about doing the business there with out-of-provincers. They could have maybe issued warnings and told guys this was their free pass but next time they wouldn’t be allowed to ride and get a fine. Same with the scales, I get pulled over at the scales by CVSE because my mud flaps aren’t wide enough and I have an Alberta plate and while I’m getting the notice, they let a lifted Jeep with B.C. plates with no mud flaps what so ever right on through. And when I ask them about it they tell me have a nice day. McBrides economy in the winter is based off of snowmobiliers from out of province and the tax collectors they call “officers” are gonna make it so no body wants to go there and cripple that town

I rode Friday/Saturday and didn’t see any @ Renshaw. We came down late each day though like 6pm. Mcbride felt pretty dead as it is. Hotels weren’t packed, parking lots were fairly empty. And without the Grizzly restaurant the food choices are minimal. Someone needs to get that place fired back up.

They have done the ‘Warnings’ the last few years all over BC (been through one 2 yrs ago).
It’s really up to us Albertans to keep our papers up to date.
It really sucks to get a ticket or not be allowed to ride after many hours of driving.

So, as long as you have current registration and insurance, all is good? what if the plate is not mounted on the sled?

Then you have the right to donate if they request!
Has to be visibly mounted.
Dont know why you cant just get the sticker style? Well you could get one made to match your plate but legal?

5 pop rivets hold mine to the snow flap - lasted all last year.
