If you're going before the new year. Say Hi to Peter and Tweasle for me.

We will be up on Jan 20th. My friend had mentioned it was getting new owners after the New Year. I would have been nice to meet them by the sounds of it.

We stayed at terracanna ranch south of mcbride, only $ 100 pp per night with free big breakfast, lunch, and supper. They have there own chef with great meals. Staying there again jan 23-30 2016. Very nice place and people !!!

Thanks for giving me an update Ryan I appreciate it. My friend called the other day to confirm and was told a group was just heading out to Bell as they spoke. Obviously that was you folks. It's supposed to get a reload before we get there, here's to fingers crossed.

I hope it is good for you.
We opened up the trail from the Scarecrow to Belle Mountain road
Once in the trees. Stay to the left. I tried going through the thicker trees as we have in the past. Too much new dead fall.
you pop up on the road at the 3km marker. Just watch for traffic.

Hopefully you guys have a blast.

Thanks for that, I've never actually been into Bell, usually Renshaw and Lucielle. Any directions are appreciated. Do they have maps of the area?

be careful as it is against the law to sled on a plowed road.

Once you reach the cabin there is a map.
Belle has two trails up. Either one gets you there and brings you back. The trail to your right is shorter. The one on the left is far more senic. I like it better.

Well that was the best experience with lodging I've ever had. Hat's off to Sven and Cara. They are wonderful people and have a wonderful setup at Scarecrow B&B. That will definitely be my lodging in the future. Wonderful meals and even rebuilt my Pro in his heated shop (bought a wicked kit from a couple guys from Saskatchewan, thanks Dave). Had a wonderful time. I highly recommend them.

My group has stayed at the Bell Mountain Motel a couple times. Rooms are older but clean and well looked after. The hot tub is nice. Haven't stayed anywhere else, so can't comment on those but when we go back we'll be staying there again.
