Hey guys, i am new to snow and mud, have been on snowest for years and just found this site. Anyway, I typically ride Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado, but decided its time to BC and experience the best riding out there. Obviously the two most talked about places are Revy and Whistler. I know I'm in the Whistler forum, but which place is the "must experience"?

I have a lot of other questions and would appreciate your help. We are looking for a reasonable place to stay, we spend many days a year traveling to go snowmobiling and its always on a budget. It sounds like a guide is certainly a good thing to have to get the full experience? Ive gotten a guide twice in 8 years and it was good once, bad once. We will be coming up from about March 6th-11th

So, Revy or Whistler?

What areas are must see/must ride?

Where to stay? (town and place)

Great places to eat/drink?

Fun things to experience?

Reasonable guides? (Not talking full out 6 days $4500 chris brown)

Anyone willing to show some out of towers around for a day or two?

What are some good info sources?

I'd go where the snow is check the reports and forecast a couple days before can't go wrong with either when it's deep accommodations are readily available as are guides in both areas once you know where your going a few days before based on conditions guides and acomadations ect can be suggested

depending on how you are traveling i wouldn't drive past revy to go to whistler both place are amazing in their own way. For sledding you cant beat revy for skiing you cant beat whistler. lots of great riding in revy as long as you don't have to deal with the famous fog that hangs around revy. like buddy in previous post said go where the snow is but one thing to keep in mind is that whistler snow is wet heavy snow most of the time, its right off the coast line where as if you go to revy or golden you get alot better powder. i have been to cooke city for alot of march rides and always had a good time not sure why you don't want to stay their but i understand its nice to find new areas to ride.i like to spend more time on the sled then in the truck. good luck wherever you decide to go.

I'd ride Whistler/Pemberton any day over Revy. Just as much light fluffy powder in both places as Revy from my experience.

I was wondering about the snow/water content, we are spoiled riding colorado/wyoming/montana typically having very light snow. Cooke can be a very fun place, but if you arent there within a day or two of a storm its tracked out, very very small area. Were still to young and dumb to realize going close is easier ha. My favorite riding areas are both 18 hours from home (seeley lake, mt and wolf creek pass, co)

We will be chasing storms, just depends on cancellation policies at hotels. That is spring break week, do things usually book up in revy or around whistler?

Whistler is a few hours further, but its a completely different route, we are taking a day and a half to drive either way so distance doesn't really matter between the two. Is pemberton more of the sledder town in the whistler area?

Who are some good guides to check out?

What areas do I HAVE to ride to experience revy/whistler?
