Now that we have entered a new phase in the governing of Alberta any thoughts on how the NDP Government will handle land access issues?

I don't know but if I had to guess I would think we will lose access to many trail systems in favour of non-motorized users. I hope I am wrong about this but I think they would cater more to the tree hugger types.

if they are like the NDP BC had in the 90's they will listen to the cryers and complainers... so get out there and start crying! Having said that they always favour native rights, parks and giving land away for nothing... next they will make parks everywhere so that industry can't work and close them to anything fun except hiking and camping on a gravel pad with a 19 inch diameter fire ring that you will pay dearly for... enjoy i hope AB's experience is diff but i doubt it!

Hope your wrong but think your right. The only thing in our favor is the NDP caucuses is mostly jokers who have no idea how government works it will take longer to fu#k sh%t up.

Ralph Klein gave all the losers one way bus tickets to Bc when we where ndp. NDP love welfare people and people who have hard luck stories, so hopefully we can return the favor and send all your people back. It has been so expensive having the rif raft all these years. They also not only hate oil, but mines as well. So what ever mines you have expect 1/2 to close.

I think the NDP Government and the AWA are going to get lovey dovey over land use issues; don't be surprised the first shut down to motorized use will be in the S.W. corner of the province and spread from there. Could get interesting!!!!

I'm hoping they really want to keep their seats and tailor themselves to fit the Alberta culture. We definitely need to let them know how many votes the motor sports community has.

They don't care. Every one of them know that their time in office is done in 4 years. Like all NDP they will get in, inflict as much damage and debt as possible (while filling their own personal coffers) and get out, leaving the mess for someone else.

I had not even thought what this new NDP would do with land issues. It certianly has the potential to be bad news for us. If you look at what has happened in BC.
