Keep us posted. Gonna try to make it to the info session at 4:30.

Seeing lots of positives FOR OHV usage and FOR Random camping as well as a few negatives, overall it was a good 5 hours used but I would like to see it more directed.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get out of the office in time to make it to the evening session. From what I hear it was not nearly as positive as you described the workshop to be - largely just ATV hate'n.

Depended which table you were at I think. Always going to be haters out there. In the morning I was at a table with a lady who before the workshop started was saying how much she enjoys the atv made trails in the river valley while on her horse. Then when the workshops opened up it was like jekyl & hyde. I stayed for about 30-40 minutes afterwards reading the comment cards from all the tables that were posted on the wall. There was not as much "hatred" towards OHV's as I had anticipated. The guy from the AB Gov't I was chatting with said it was way worse in other sessions. Also remember this is only phase 1

I was quading this weekend at horburg and its amazing how few people camping there has heard of this. Most of them I talked to about possible stiff regulations or closures believe that will never happen. Comments like try to stop me from random camping. Or how will they enforce this. Also the trails there were pretty clean and I picked up only a few beer cans and garbage which is good. And the trails are stupid muddy. It was a great weekend for riding. It was rainy so there was no dust !

in my opinion they aren't out to close it all down, just maybe change management structuring around certain areas..... enforcement is an issue now and will continue to be, Education of the back country users is KEY
