I’mhearing the same jungle drums…the decision has been made, now the ducking anddodging.
Theyare already closing to hikers vast areas because of Gbears in KCountry, Canmoreand elsewhere.
Atsome point it is going to be too dangerous for hikers and the bears to keep an areaopen….management tool of choice; closure
..andit will still be the OHV fault, pushing bears into non-motorized areas puttinghikers et al at risk.
I hope AEP is throwing the same book at hikersthat don’t respect closed signs that they throw at us.

From what i have read, seen etc. Grizzly bear numbers have made a huge comeback in numbers, the only result can be increased encounters and a larger percentage are going to be fatal. People are like sheep following the next flavour of the land, or activist. i"m thinking it is like another addiction, trying to make sense of there dismal lives!
Grizzlies west of rocky are losing any fear of mankind they may have had, and now they are leaving the mountain area's seeking easy food, and better hunting ranges. The feel good people have no idea what is really happening, and are not being told what the true agenda is of Y2Y.

This Dr is conducting there research in the Cadomin area, the next area to be hit by the NDP and Y2Y. Have any quadders seen these camera's on the trails?
Last year there were camera's along the upper main horse trail in Whitehorse creek.
