Hey folks, we (clubs, volunteers and Gov’t staff) have beenlooking at the trail conditions as we are moving into the upcoming May Long. The whole place is really wet and in somecases still snow in the bush.
With last year being so wet the trails took a beating andthis year winter refusing to quit, conditions have not improved.
I am asking that everyone use respect; either choose tojust hang around camp and not inflict further damage or be very selective onthe routes that you take are on hardened trails. Please don’t make things worse.
A peek into the future is that the crown lands will becovered by Public Land Use Zones (PLUZ). This will give the land managers the ability to close areas due to poorweather and trail conditions to protect the infrastructure. Make wise choices.
Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Cal
