Let's hope we can boot out the NDP in the next election to reverse this crap and stop it from spreading.

It's not surprising with an NDP government is it ? We knew this was their agenda when they got voted in, no surprise.
What is even more astonishing is the charade that they always put on in regards to pubic consultations.
While they ask for it , do they really care to listen ??? Seriously...

How many albertans were in favour of this ridiculous carbon tax , but its in now !Same with bill 6 and the list goes on & on....
While I applaud all the hard work by the Folks on our side ( not an easy job ) , I do not trust them to follow the will of the majority, but rather the social agenda they ( NDP)feel they must impose on us !

We have only a few weapons on our side , the financial cost to huge loss of revenue from this .
However the time to play this card , imo, is when the next election rolls around .
That is the only time you can hold anyone to account ! Remember, the vast majority of NDP support is
by greenies , and if we honestly expect to see the NDP help the off road enthusiast, we will be sadly mistaken.

Anyways , thanks for everyone who has worked on our behalf ... well done . I think it may be time to focus our efforts on the next government , this one has no interest in listening to the majority of Albertans.

It is time for the opposition parties to throw away their own personnel agendas and get on with saving Alberta from Green Peace. I thought the conservatives would have learned in the last election that you can get to arrogant and nobody will vote for you

I don't know. I lived there most of my life working in the evil oil and gas business. The oil and gas business built most of the roads there. There has always been opposition and they have finally won. We used to be able to ride our dirt bikes and sleds in the frontal canyons and then that was shutdown. Now the whole thing, South Castle, Middle and North Kootenay, Carbondale...what a disaster. Companies have paid significant money for rights to drill. Maybe they will want there money back as they shutdown operations. NDP is calling it job creation. Will the next government reverse this? I think only under huge public pressure to do so.
Those NDP politicians are such cowards they snuck into Pincher Creek to announce this and it wasn't a public event. They had security keeping anyone that wasn't a greenie out.

ya and have it at a venue that can only hold 40 people that they brought in. Communist governing at its finest here. If this pig isn't stopped this province has is so screwed. The damage done is almost to much already.

Was this an order in council this park? Was it passed in the legasative assembly. The ssrp was passed and an order in council was made to change the ssrp to allow for a park. Thoughts?

take the survey and make comments. It's all we can really do at this time.

Its important we do the survey and respond in a responsible way. We don't want our image any worse out of this. Yellingg and complaining or calling them F(*#%tards wont make any changes but giving them options such as responsible trails with proper rules to follow and responsible users.
Do the survey and respond

this is a straight forward question by the Lethbridge herald. better than the no win survey questions.

the poll is one the right side of the article. More ammo to use for this fight going forward showing public opinion.

UPDATE: question has been changed. probably too many legitimate voters. was up to 76% "NO" with 1100 votes.

Sorry to break it to you... but a poll on a webpage that can be answered 100 times by the same person, is totally meaningless. It might reflect general sentiment and nothing more. :(

If you have another solution please feel free to share, or would you rather do nothing and just let everyone else try??

The survey is set up to favor the government. It is best to write in comments stating why you are against the proposal as it stands.

Will there be an oportunity to explain why all the science behind these closures and up in coming closures are fundamentally flawed at this meeting in Cowley?
Eg biodiversity , linear footprint , sara etc.

im assuming an action plan on this argument and others information will be presented during question period or however the opposition can table this issue BEFORE it gets voted on. The crowsnest pass quad squad is organising this event, and seems to be quite organised in their action plan. you can contact them with your suggestions via email on the web or facebook to get it on the agenda for the evening. fist step is get on the castlepark website above, sign the petition, and donate to the cause if you can.
