Well volunteers certainly deserve all their chances to celebrate a good days work. How is the snow?
The sledders that were working on the new warm up cabin today must have had a good day up Koko as they are sure having a good time now. ( Down the street a couple doors )

Dunno, we've been riding normal for quite awhile, nice base now for sure

Thanks for the info. Driven by the Elkford turnoff no less than 30 times. Heading that way Sunday and am hoping to maybe ride it for the first time!

No more rain now.

Sleds are out of the garage and atv is in. May as well be productive and get a jump on spring prep.

Deadly vid. Looks like some pretty technical riding areas.
Gonna have to up my average from only riding one day a year by quite a bit before I head up there lol

Don't let the video fool you. There is lots of riding for every skill level out there.

Maybe.

I've been up to the claims area on the grizzly in the summer and kinda know the area. Just never seen it in the winter. I recall lots of tight trees and steep though. With a few meadows here and there.

i ride up and over the notch many times when there is no snow and I can't believe people sled in that area. every area looks totally different in the summer or fall.

I'll be down with a buddy in Elkford tuesday afternoon, Wednesday and Thursday if anyone has some suggestions or cares to say what is more tracked out. Somewhat familiar with Elkford, haven't ridden fernie before, just corbin. Or if any one wants to come out/show us around a bit would be happy to provide beverages of choice.
