Yeah and they would likely charge you $100 for your time.

I was there two weeks ago now and the settled snow pack has doubled since I was there. Sadly I am not out there this week. The Norns reportedly has decent snow with anywhere from 165-185 cm settled on the Goose Creek side with fresh on top of that. You could try up the Bombi summit but its a decently long ride into some real good riding.

Outside of town I am sure Grizzly has decent snow but I do not know what the road/logging situation is. You could always head back into Nelson and ride Give Out as White water is reporting decent snow with more on the way tonight/tomorrow.

Other than that, there are literally dozens upon dozens of well kept secret stashes that I won't even begin to mention but I can show you what they have looked like the past few days from the photos I have received.

Yeah its a bit of a drive into a staging area if you go in from Slocan end, Grizzly is further South/West of that though you can park and get access to it from the saw dust pile you won't likely see man if any other tracks.

Any word on the riding around Castlegar yet this year? Looking to try and find some snow, as we are very sparse here in N. Idaho and NE Washington. Can’t hardly find even a place for a road ride down here.

It was pretty thin looking when we drove through on hwy 3 today...not sure what the actual conditions are. It was thin conditions all the way from Hope to Fernie, the most snow was In Manning park and the very top of Kootenay pass (Salmo/Creston). Very low snowpack at the lower elevations in every area we drove through.
