we would like to get one more ride next weekend, hopefully it works out!!! where is the cut off for trailer access for either Morrissey or Coal Creek or is it decks only now?

There was a trailer parked at the first bridge at Morrissey today. Still a smallish berm at the end of the bridge and too much snow to go up and turn around with a trailer by the second bridge.

Coal Creek was sketchy to turn around with a trailer at the first avalanche (km 39). One would have to hand bomb it.

I was going to ride on the weekend but I will wait for a little more melt so that I can drive more easily to the snow line.

Unloaded up Coal Creek, at Paiges to be exact. Then pulled the belt off, and drug it to the last bridge where the snow started. Couldn't get to the cabin with the Ranger, even if I wanted too.
Sure lots of snow up and around the cabin though. An easy drive t the Notch. Every snow bridge is still in except one on the pipeline. The way the water was running on the way home though, today might be the last day for an easy trip back though.

Looking at the Flathead though, sure neat to see the snow contrast in elevation.

How did the new toy hauler work out for you?

This was just another scouting run. I'd never pulled a trailer up that far, so I just took the 4 place again. It would be an adventure in itself yarding that toyhauler up there :)

I think it would be fine in August, and then make camp by the gas well??

Theres still a D8 sitting at Paiges, with what seem like lots of traffic going up and around. Any idea what's going on up there??

They could be logging or getting ready to log again but I don't have real world information.

Still a week or two of easy access left I think, then it's for the die hards after that, im starting to burn out and lose interest for this season as I'm nearing 70 days on the snow so maybe only one more ride left for me!
