Fender flares

What do you guys recommend for fender flares for an '05 Brute? Does anyone have first hand experience with a particularly good set?

With spacers and the new tires, I'm throwing way too much mud, and want to deal with it effectively and affordably. I'm probably going to end up smashing them on something anyway, so looks take a back seat to functionality on this one.

Thanks

But Kevin's the reason I need the flares! :)

He sold me the lift, the springs, the spacers AND the tires.

For a Brute? What brand are they? How do you like them? How "wide" are they? And how much did they cost you?

Thanks

I have a set for my Grizz but am reluctant to put them on since you have to drill through the fenters to attach them. ...looks like a good way to rip the chit out of your plastics to me.

I was pretty surprised at the Goodfish rally how much mud the Zillas threw at me with the spacers added. However, we're generally covered by the end of the day anyways, so does it matter how fast you get covered?

I've seen guys make their own with thin puck board, or crazy carpet or whatever, either way you have to drill the fenders to attach them, so esthetically I'd go with a proper set.

Dean, I agree on muddy rides, you're gonna get dirty anyways. I'm more thinking about camping, or just hopping on the bike for a quick rip. I just constantly get rained on with mud, right now, and I don't want to have to change my clothes every time I look at my quad.

Tyler, I thought about making my own too. Thought about cutting up some rubber mudflaps, but the fenders on the Brute point straight down. They wouldn't be flares, so much as drapes :D

Cant rember the brand or cost
But the kawis need them badly
If you clip a tree with the stock fenders they well break
Dont really care if i get muddy

I put some on called D2 inc they fit up pretty good and only cost 120. I also seen some on kijiji in st. albert guy wants 40 for them. The ones I got for my brute are also bolt thru the fender type, They seem to be holding up pretty good, except my 28" outlaws still throw the mud up from behind. No wheel spacers either.
