It has 26k, the guy says it has a problem with a sensor that thinks it is overheating after about 25K and puts it in limp mode.

Is that a issue on king quads with high miles? From what ive read they are pretty reliable quads and not to bad to wrench on

25,000km?! I'd probably pass that up unless he was giving it away.

lol well I was thinking if it lasted that long it must be good. He has it listed for 2400 so I thought it may be a decent deal if I could get it for 2k?

For $2000 what the heck why not but any major repairs and you might as well part it out.

From what I have seen MOST quads have a 10000-15000km lifespan after that the repair costs just outweigh the value

Don't get me wrong! But it seems u are more interested in price than anything else, King quad is a great atv, But as most are saying it is worn out, any money u save will be soon lost to expensive repairs. Or u will lose your initial investment, as it falls apart. U would be better to buy a newer atv with a lot less km's. It is up to u as there is a difference between frugal and cheap. There are lots of atv's out there that can be a good buy at maybe just a few dollars more

Is it on kijiji or do you know the guy, last one I looked at was a scam. Same story lots of kms for an outlander 800 and they wanted $2000.00 for it, a waste of flesh these people are.

How much is a quad like this with like 2000km? $2500 is a low price but I didn't think it was crazy good. But I don't know the price of these.

Ya your right I am a cheap sob lol. I can't help it though! ;)
I recently realized I should just get a new 500 or so instead of a used big bore quad. Right now its a toss up between the poo 570 and a can am 500.
And right now the can am has a 5year warranty. In order to not void the warranty would I have to take it to the dealer for servicing (oil changes etc)?
