they are installing traffic lights at the dunmore intersection off the #1 highway. the dd's nailed the main fiber optic line for telus. knocked out the east side of dunmore, lol. that was a 24 hr repair. curious to know what that cost.

usually starts at $100,000 Plus,, as they charge for repair of line, and there estimated lost revenue. as every minute of the fibre line is used, and charged for when line is cut. mostly used by banks, governments etc, because of line security. there is one spot i know of that would shut down most of alberta as 3 main N/S fibre cables are within 4 meters of each other.
