Hey all,

My wife has ridden a 99 Z440 fan for the last few years (her first machine, as she's new to the sport). Now that she doesn't hate it, she seems to be developing some more expensive tastes, and prefers a little of the finer things in life. It's time to think about upgrading her sled, and she would like a ride that is comfortable. She will never be the type to be highmarking, or into serious boondocking, but likes the trails in the mountains. She had a chance to ride a Mtn Phazer, and thought it was not too bad, but I would like to hear comments about some of the other sleds in this type of class. Something in the 400 - 500 - 600 cc range. Has anyone ridden the Crossfires? What does Ski-Doo have to compare to this?

Thanks,

Tekim:D

My buddies wife has an 05 600 Renegade, she loves it. Has taken it to the hills(Renshaw). It's light, great on gas and has a fair bit of jam. She also likes the fact she can start it with one hand while sitting on the sled(Farm girl).

Just dont forget going from the old style to the rider forward position takes a bit of adjustment and the rider forward are easier to tip over, basically not as stable. When I bought my wife the mountain cat my biggest concern was suspension. She road our friends new RMK and was very happy to get back on her cat.Just my two cents as everyone has there preferences!

Love my Rev! I had the 600 MXZ Renegade last year and it got me around just fine. This year I have the 800 with a 144 2" and would never go back. It just depends what the conditions are like and how hard your wife will want to ride. I know that I would not have wanted my 600 in the powder earlier this year!:twocents:
