Oh wow NO ****. How many heroin addicts do you know?? How many Drunks??? Obviously alcohol has far more impact on our society than drugs like heroin and crack.....

The article is 3 years old. Things have changed a lot. However...alcohol IMO is the biggest threat to persons family and society.

I was gonna guess bath salts. Watched an episode of intervention with them and I thought it was pretty messed up. Then the Florida guy ate a bums face on them....not exactly a walk in the park!

That being said I've never heard of a drunk eating someone's face. I'm gonna stick with the bath salts in the harm department. I think the study is flawed

"Researchers led by Professor David Nutt, a former chief drugs adviser to the British government, asked drug-harm experts to rank 20 drugs (legal and illegal) on 16 measures of harm to the user and to wider society, such as damage to health, drug dependency, economic costs and crime" Yeah sure bath salts will fawk a guy right up im sure,,,, Not a very popular drug tho. Never met anyone who's done it and I know some serious high guys...lol Every one drinks man. Im sure there is 1000x more cost associated with crime, health, dependency ext from alcohol than bath salts.. Look at the scope of the study here.

They should do a government financed study on what percentage of automobile accidents involve automobiles.....would be just as informative.

Turned out that the guy in Florida that ate the dudes face was on weed, not bath salts at all.
