It seems like every internet service I have tried worked great in the beginning even xplornet. By the the time I got rid of xplornet last year it wasnt even a service anymore. The Telus hub was great at first but now I can see it failing. When it gets busy in Nordegg this May I'm guessing it wont work.

Thus hub great at first getting slower called and they said it can't get slower. They talked thru the reset of hub and right back to 55 Mbps, shut it off take battery out wait couple miniutes and worked good again before the reset it was down to 5mbs, can see it to be a problem glad I bought it no contract.

Still very happy with my Rocket hub from Rogers, Never had a problem and I use it a lot for work and have downloaded this entire site a few times then uploaded it to new server.
What do you pay for that? Is it comparable price to Telus hub?

That's what we use. Had switched over to Telus because they put a new tower up right across from us and made lots of promises. Couldn't even open the s&m page so that crap had to go right away. On the internet side Rogers has been really good.

I've been on CCI for 4 years (5?) now and upgraded to the LTE a couple years back.....getting slower and slower, less reliable every day. We like the unlimited usage, but I'm considering a Telus Smart Hub. The data plans seem low on usage though.

I'm experimenting with wireless point to point service at work. I think this might be the way to go if you can find a company with coverage in your area. You can get it as fast as you need and datacaps in the terabytes. Try CCI, WiBand, Clearwave, Switch. The pricing differs significantly from provider to provider.

I called it right back in April. Ever since the May Long weekend the Telus hub has been chit here in Nordegg. Our cell phones barely work on weekends. Any one with xplornet seen any improvement with the new Satelite? I'm down to a 0.5 download speed now.

My explorenet is terrible. Not on a satellite but a wireless tower. Had the Tech out a month ago and he said signal strength was good and the problem is with explornets infrastructure. The tower is only 1 mile away. Typing to complain now as watch the loading wheel spin and I wait for a set of blueprints to download.
