Expecting Nascar to hand out penalties today to the 42 car for improper rear window support found after the race. The 42 car is claiming this happened from rear end damage from the race but Nascar doesn't appear to be buying it. This is about the 4th time a team has been caught with this issue in post race tech.
Ya no doubt 42 was cheating, no Chevy do well and then all of a sudden bammmmm he jumps the lead fast, maybe he should have not been so obvious lol.
So all I do now in truck is listen to nascar and guest ion I have is, when they get caught like this when they win a stage or a race do they lose that win/points/cash?

In this case He lost the playoff point for his stage win. They get to keep the prize money and points however.....Nascar announced today that the 42 car was in violation of the rear window rule and will lose 20 owner and driver points, crewchief fined $50,000 and barred from the race track for 3 races. Chip Ganassi has stated he will not appeal the penalty.
ya must piss off the owners, or would they be involved or know about it, they should make it that they lose the win a next in line gets it. Maybe then will change there tune.

Yeah like I said earlier Nascar has a policy that they want a declared winner before the fans leave the race track or fans turn off their TV. Most illegal issues are sorted out within an hour after the race in post race tech but some don't pop up till Nascar fully inspects the car at their research center the following week.
