Snake job, the sequel! Merry Christmas David Ragan. It now appears that Ragan will not be driving the 43 car next year as Eric Amirola has brought a full time sponsor to the table and it is now expected that he will be named to drive the famed 43 car for Richard Petty. This is the second time in a week that Ragan has been blindsided just before signing a deal with powerhouse Penske and the storied RPM team.

43 car new driver named today. Eric Almirola will drive the famed 43 car next year and will bring a sponsor with him. In other news David Ruettimann will drive a second car for Tommy Baldwin Racing. They have sponsorship for 26 races. Still no sponsor for Dave Blaney in the 2nd Baldwin car. Now I wonder who will drive the 88 Jr. Motorsports car? Ragan or Cole Whitt? Nice to see Brian Vickers is still out of a ride for next year. Bawhahahaha!!

I managed to catch Carl Edwards on " Live with Kelly" this morning as I heard he was going to co host the show with Kelly Ripa. He actually was quite funny and handled his duties well.
They interviewed Kate Beckingsale and he jumped when she pinched his knee. He's lucky thats all that jumped. She is very easy on the eyes. Lol.

Preseason Thunder at Daytona in underway! Today is day two of testing!
What a short off season, I can't wait! gonna watch some footage of todays testing this afternoon!
BTW we should get Brew-doo around here and start our own fantasy NASCAR like he was talking about.
Only a little over a month till they kick the season off at Daytona with the Bud Shootout!

Yesterday during testing DC sr. was fastest 
@ 206.058 mph and Regan Smith was 2nd fastest.
NASCAR is still trying to stop the two car draft but doesnt look like they are haveing much luck. They have banned car to car communication and after Friday's test they made these changes...
-Reduced the restrictor plate open to 29/32 inch down from 15/16
-The radiator opening was reduced from 3.5 X 18 inches to 2 X 20 inches (Or from 63 square inches to 40 square inches)
-The pressure relief valve is now 21 psi, down from 25 psi.
We will see how these changes will affect speed, racing, drafting today!

The guys that run the Nascar pool that I have been in are looking for someone to take it over as they are done with it. Not sure how much work is involed - collecting money, entering team, inputting points into the program I guess... Anyone interested in taking it over?? There were about 150 teams last year... I finished 6th and took home about $300.

I dont know the first thing bout how that pool was run...... maybe you should keep tradition going!
Geez - the'll be dumping out A/F every time they come into the pits - thats alot smaller surface area to cool that engine off ! Wonder how fast they would go if they didnt have resticter plates - Paracute needed would be my guess ! The engineers get more creative to gain more speed - nascar shuts them down!!

Who knows what the final rules will be when they show back up to speedweeks but on the final day of testing they could only stay in tandem formation for about a lap. Lots of pack racing but JR said if they keep the rules like that the final move to win the race will be in tandem form.

Hendrick and RCR cars looked stout at testing, and judging by interviews of their drivers they are gonna be better in Feb.

Ford will win at all the big downforce tracks and Tony will rediscover Burger King and Schlitz, get fat and lazy and Carl will win his first championship. JJ will leave Hendrick and will race for Jesus at Morgan Shepard Racing as a 2 car team. Jr. will win a race and finally come out of the closet after his hot blond girlfriend admits to being a transvestite. Aaaaaand...... Jeffy will break his leg breakdancing at the allstar event causing Kyle B to fall off the stage, hit his head laughing so hard and wake up, forget who he is and call Kurt Busch an azzhat.
Jeff will win the 500 and Brickyard and both road courses and championship number 5. Then retire.Just as hated by the Dale E fans. Even though the both of them were very close friends and business partners. So sad. Oh ya, Jr will never win another race again and eventually gets fired by Mr H.

Chit!, Im glad I never put a Monster energy sticker on my quad for the extra 20HP it adds. I would rather push the S.O.B. before I supported them Douche Bags!
Well after the last couple of years D - Jr has had his fair of struggles - will he win again - ???? would like to see it but - sad to say it - probably not. Ford winning daytona - NOT! - Chey all the way! Smoke to win 500! With all the steam he built up last part of the season - who else?
