Looks like a cool bike, probably has a bunch of money in it. Can always lower the price later, but maybe someone will pay 27g for it?

IMHO... You can pay 18-25g for a full factory built bike, a previous race bike from one of the best riders in the world. Factory race teams can spend over 50g on some race bikes. Dude has a beast and a verrrrry cool bike. I bet he has stupid money into it....but asking that much just won't sell. A 500 is a bike for only the brave and fit that can handle the worst arm pump within 2 mins. I know this because i have one that is a 01 motor with AF. The bike isn't a track bike, nor a good trail bike. Its really only good if your a beast at hair scrambles or gonna dune it. juuuuus my 2 cents, but i hope he sells it to get some money out of it.

Yeah I had a 2001 cr500 and it was stupid fast. Maybe it will sell for 27G and maybe it wont. Cant blame guy for trying. I know from experience it gets old loosing a pile of money on toys.

I heard a story a few seasons back about Jaime from Yeti building some EFI Panthera powered aluminum SX framed monsters, I wonder if he ever got them complete?

There’s a company out of Calgary I think that builds a 650 or 625 based off the cr500 and it’s a direct bolt in to a SX

Maybe buddies wife wants him to sell the bike but he doesn’t want to, so he put it up for a stupid high price. That way if he don’t sell he’s ok with it and if it does sell he has lots of cash.
