Chipped 5.4L = Hp ?

Hey guys I'm thinking about purchising a chip for my 05' truck with a 5.4 L. " yes its a ford ha ha... " I know that hp gains are sugnificant and notisable on diesels but am wondering if anyone has tried it on a gas engine like mine . any coments would be greatly appreciated.

Yea, We've Sold A Few Chips.... I'ts Noticeable, And So Is The Exhaust Upgrade And A Fresh Air Intake Kit.... If You Doo All 3 Upgrades, Then You Will Notice Better Gas Mileage And Great Power Too..... Let Us Know What You Doo???/

I had an 2003' 5.4L and put exhaust and an intake on it. It was noticable, but no where near what I wanted. The upgrade from the 2003 5.4L gas job to the 2006 6.0L deisel was better than I wanted.

I put an Edge Evolution into my 04, 5.4l. Noticeable difference on tourqe and hp especially pulling a trailer. I think it is about a 30hp increase on the top (level 3) setting. I usually run it on Level 2 so that it is not to aggressive on the engine mods. Easy to use, three pre sets, one for economy, one for towing and one for performance. Says that you can't use the performance program for towing though. You can also play with each setting individually as well. Also picked up about 2 mpg with a trailer attached. So far happy with it.

would this chip be worth it on the 4.6L 2002 F-150

I got the intake and exaust...... just not sure yet about gettin a chip for her yet

how much would that run to do all three mods. exhaust, chip and intake. i have an 07 5.4l. comming from the dodge i thought it hauled already but if it can be even better....

Edge chip is between 5 and 6 hundred depending if you get it on sale. Best price was JB's when I bought, right around 5. I priced out exhaust and air raid / K&N intake and it would have been around 1g just for those two. didn't look much though so you could probably get the exhaust and air intake cheaper if you shop around.

For the 02 4.6l you can get the Edge but not sure of the HP gains. There is an F150 forum on the internet, just google Ford F150, lots of guys on there with mods and good info on what works and what does not.

It is the Snow and Mud for Ford F150 owners.

i have a 2007 silverado ltz, 5.3 litre, 315 hp, i put the gm performance dual exhaust, gm cold air intake, and i had the guys at raven chip it.

all three made a good difference and i love the way it shifts now.

ps.

no more speed limiter!!!!!
