One For Jeff!

While in the avy course I got paired up with Jeff and his Dad to do single beacon searches.Both riding brand new XP's and loving them.I told him I would post his pic and make him famous.Nice meeting you and your dad!

Hey Catmando. I guess we must have missed you on Saturday at Quartz. The group I was with tends to have some issues in keeping schedules so obviously we didn't quite make the 9:00 meeting time that we talked about.
Anyways I caught a few glimpses of the big orange kitty bombing around so you must have been having a good time.
That said, you probably would have gone nuts riding with our group cause we had a few first timers with us and I think I spent as much time digging them out as I did riding.
We went back to quartz on Sunday as well and ended up having a great day. It wasn't busy at all and not nearly as much digging going on. We ended up stumbling across some poor kid who was completely stuck and had been trying to dig himself out for over an hour. His father was also completely stuck about 40 yards away from him and both were completely exhausted.
We helped dig them out and they went straight back to their vehicle and called it a day.
Although riding in big groups can be a pain sometimes, you sure do appreciate having the extra hands when it comes to getting out of trouble.
Anyways it was good taking the Avy course with ya and we'll see ya around.

No problem,There was another group from Saskatchewan that was going to be there at 9.00 as well but had flat tire troubles,I finally caught up with them around 11.00 but it was snowing so hard I decided to get an early start home.Next time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
