I've been in the drilling side of the oil patch for 10 yrs now and always intrigued at the sight and looks of a drilling rig. Have you got some pic's of what your jewel looks like?

Hey guys.... 'Crazy_Wheeler' & 'Deano670'.....Got lots of pics of the operations, Will pick out a few & put in a album in the photo section. Will have to do tomorrow as kind of busy right now.... Stuck in the hole.

When I was still drilling K&C used to move us all the time when we were drilling around the Edmonton area. You guys dropped our sub and derrick from the roll on the low boy. Sling broke and down she come crashing. It took 3 days of welding to fix at mastco's yard. Oh that poor rig had a tough winter in 2003. We were using the bed to skid it forward off the matting onto 3 by's so the picker could grab the matting and get it spotted over on the next location. Well the first link that the winch line went threw broke and gave the old girl a good shaking. After that it became a big chore to pull drill line off the new spool for slip n' cuts.

I dont i get to fix all the JUNK they break, and chase these god forsaken truck s lease to lease. I could be driveing If I felt i wanted to, but I'd wrather be home with mamma and little one. Not to mention I'm still gettin my hours in as our drivers well things are pretty damn slow for them right now.- Thread starter
