It is the VETERAN , not the preacher,

Who has given us freedom of religion.

It is the VETERAN , not the reporter,

Who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the VETERAN , not the poet,

Who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the VETERAN , not the campus organizer,

Who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is the VETERAN , not the lawyer,

Who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the VETERAN , not the politician,

Who has given us the right to vote.

It is the VETERAN ,

Who salutes the Flag,

It is the VETERAN ,

Who serves under the Flag,

ETERNAL REST GRANT THEM O LORD,

AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON THEM.

PLEASE remember our Vets this November 11th who have already given their lives so we can have a place like Snow & Mud to post on and be very proud of our young men and women in the service no matter where they serve.

God Bless them all!!!

Now thats a BOOYAAAAAH. Good post Fab1

I recently started helping a soldier who is deployed in Kosovo. He contacted me on Snowest and was having a tough time getting his sled parts ordered for his KK mod. He has no phone hook up and very slow net service. I have been doing his leg work for him. I thank him after every communication for his brave sevice and wish him a safe and speedy return. He tells me how nice it is to be appreciated . I suspect it has much to do with many of His homeland Americans that have turned against them. When I communicate with him next I'll tell him Hi from everyone at Snow and Mud.
To all of you that have served and those who continue to do so Thank You. Honour amoungst Men you are true Heros

Thank You to all our Veterans.

we met this Canadian military chopper pilot while quading this spring, he was back from deployment in the middle east and flying forestry workers around for the government on his time at home. he said he was being deployed to Afghanistan in the fall. Thanks Cutter, hope you are well and it was nice to meet you.

A video Tribute to the veteran by Canadian Terry Kelly. Played a concert in Edmonton Tuesday and Wednesday, and singing this song at the rememberance Day Parade at the butterdome in Edmonton.

Really makes it hit home.

God Bless the veteran, those who gave the ultimate sacrafice, and the men and women currently serving.
