Hot Water Heat in slab installer needed.

What's a system like that cost and do you still need a forced air furnace?

No forced air furnace, they can range from 12,000 to no limit...Nice set up buck50. I agree well worth the up front cost to save $$$$$ for as long as you live there...

You do need an air exchanger or fan coil to bring fresh air into the house. It's also nice to have heated air in each room in the spring and fall when it's cold at night but can be very warm during the day or if you want A/C in the summer.

yes you do need an air exchanger and you can also use your infloor for ac also.

with my concrete floors, the heat of the house just gets sucked into the floor and dissipated! no need for an AC unit we've found. we DO have a forced air furnace, both for fresh air into the house, and also like summiteer said, it's nice in the spring and fall when we shut down the infloor and it gets cold at night, but to hot during the day to run the slab heat. plus, if one boiler goes down, i have another one, and if both go down, we have the furnace for backup. as for an air exchanger, i found it was MORE expensive than a forced air furnace, so i went with a furnace instead

mine cost about $25 000, that's with all the coils, the boilers and the plumber to install them

yes they are! cheaper to go with 2 100's instead of 1 200!!!! kinda crazy, but oh well, plus like i said, if one goes down, i still have the other one!
