I'm looking into holding an event in Hinton. Just starting the process now. Going to be attending a meeting next week. I'll be looking for people who want to race or get involved with organizing. We have a great track here thats just sitting doing nothing. Yellowhead Raceway. Please post your two cents. The more input the better!

There is a motocross track and a 1/8 mile oval. I'm kicking around a few ideas. There is alot of potential to hold almost any type of event there. Are you interested in cross country racing, gncc style?

The motocross track is used for utility quad races. They had an event the same weekend of the S&M campout.

I agree. The facility in Hinton can accomodate almost any type of racing. The event this summer was put on by 3 people and went very well considering. There was one utility quad, a Kawi 750. For pictues go here-->
What I am proposing is a much larger event with at least two types of racing available. That was the only event held there this year. Sad because it is an excellent facitlity with great potential.
