Caught Thief

Today at 9 am some guy just parkes his car in front of our shop and starts looking into vehicles. Doors were all locked so he was out of luck, I seen him out my office window then walk up to my truck, and Im watching him from behind by blinds on the second floor. He grabbed by door handle and with the new chrome covers it snapped back I heard that and then the alarm went off. I jumped over my desk, jumped down 2 flights of stairs and headed out and confronted him. He sayed he was just looking, right

He was driving a rusted out old Toyota full of probably stolen goods, computers and stuff. He looked like a crackhead, I told him to leave and don't come back. Then I fowarded his info to the police with a description and my info, I recieved a message later that they need a statement from me now as they did catch him and the stuff in his car is stolen too.

Nice Work Ron, we need more guys like you to go racing out of doors to catch this cracked out little buggers trying to steal stuff out of our vehicles!

I love hearing stories like that wicked! That would have been the perfect time for a running HAY MAKER!!!....lol. Then just tell the cops he fell when you spooked him....

Good work Starsky...um, I mean Ron (there is a bit of a resemblance eh?). I have seen plenty of good-quality chrome door handles but I've always been able to restrain myself from always having to 'try' them. I agree with Shredder 'just looking-my a**...if the door doesn't open-it's lookin' but if the door opens then it's stealin'. How 'bout this...if it swells it's just wrestlin' but if it's bleeding then it's a beatin'. This way the intervention could be moderated (by our moderators!!). Now we'll see the amount of post go up!
