hey all , just wondering ,
I gotta 05 ram diesel , put a bully dog tripple dog in , and it made my tank go farther and i can light up my 35's . But i drive it on the lowest setting 99% of the time . I have replaced a tranny once already and it was a fight to get dodge to do it . They had to cuz they could not prove i had a chip in it . NICE ..
Anyway , I am looking to get a better programer , hopefully one that does not eat the tranny . Again . Miss the power and the extra k's .. ya know .
Any ideas out there ..
just wanna know who has had good luck with what .
Thanks all .

I have no personal experience with this but I read that the tranny behind the cummins diesel was pretty much maxed out, might have to look at doing some mods to the transmission if you mod the engine.

WE HAVE SOLD LOTS OF DIFFERENT "CHIPS" IN THE PAST, AND THE SUPERCHIP IS PROBABLY THE EASIEST AND BIGGEST BANG FOR THE BUCK RIGHT NOW AND ITS INTERNET UPGRADEABLE TOO. I RAN ONE IN MY '06 DODGE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND RECENTLY SWITCHED OVER TO THE EDGE JUICE W/ATTITUDE(I LIKE THE GAGES, AND MONITOR TRANSMISSION TEMP, EGT, BOOST PRESSURE AND ENGINE TEMP ON IT). I WILL BE PUTTING A SUPERCHIP BACK INTO IT SOON AND STACKING THE EDGE JUICE W/ATTITUDE ONTO IT FOR EVEN MORE POWER AND CONTROL. DEFINATELY CHECK OUT THE SUPERCHIP, FOR THE PERFORMANCE AND THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL RELIABILITY AS WELL AND EASE OF OPERATION AND DOWNLOADING(SIMPLEST OF ALL THE "CHIPS" TO USE). JUST MY 2 CENTS:twocents: PM OR E-MAIL ME IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS.... I'VE SOLD LOTS OF ALL THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF CHIPS OUT THERE.

I have a 01 dodge 3500, chipped, and injectors I blew the trany 5 years ago replaced it and put a high torque clutch in it. Then a month later my transfer case went out. Then just last year I had to replace the clutch and trany again. I do pull trailer alot but it's starting to get alittle pricy.....:(

I run the Edge with Attitude on my Chev and have been very happy with it. It does not put out as much power as some of the other chips on the market but it's adjustable on the fly (5 settings) and as summitric said it has guages to make sure everything is OK. I still have my tranny and tend to bump it up only when needed. Run on #2 most of the time.

I run the bully 3-stage toon on an 06 Ford, no tranny problems. I run it on the lowest setting, was it on smooth or agressive shift Dirty Dodge?

When the tranny crappy out it was on the lowest setting and in smooth shift mode . Was good for 15 thousand k's then It just started to not shift , was in 3rd all the time .
:rant::
And for the record ,, I would not take a pedal bike to get fixed at GREAT WEST CHRYSLER , the service mngr is a major $#%@#$@#$ , i wont even drive on their lot now . And it seems that there has been alot of this from the guys I have talked to . And NO they did not fix my truck , Stony did .
Seems like the tranny is the weakest link with the rams . Too bad cuz i love the truck , going to try some different programers , might have to get a conversion kit and put an allison in it when the coverage stops .

I guess every truck has it's problems , especially when we start messing with it , just like the sleds n quads . So , I will just have to keep paying and keep playing .
Thanks all ,
Keep the comments and advice coming . All good

35'S AREN'T HELPING YOUR SITUATION. i WOULD PROBABLY LOOK AT UPGRADING THE TRANNY IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS ON THE LOW SETTINGS.

Anyone with the Bully 3-stage haviin Tranny trouble runnin a newer Ford Diesel? I was told to run mine on agressive shift, better fer the Tranny. Any thoughts fellas? BTW... Lowest setting ... ummmm I think is 50-55 horse. I keep mine there all the time, just a little kick in the azz when ya need it, dont run air induction, or big exhaust, just a little more power if ya need it. Should I be worried about my tranny? Sometimes under a load ( 5th whl & quad trailer, ) it shifts hard, like I mean you can feel it. but only when ya gun it and make the engine work to shift the tranny, not often...., but sometimes....., dont wanna be replacin tranny in a company truck.... get my drift...????:nono:

Ford running w/Attitude... Edge Juice Platinum. No problems. Shifting very smooth as you can control shift firmness. I really like the monitor with all the different settings other than just power levels & sure like the turbo cool down mode & EGT backdown setting. Drive & play with all the features.
