Sorry didnt mean to offend any one.

I Should get my dad to join the geezers sled group. He was the one that got me into sledding. Was never the same after he quitn
I wasn’t offended Dan, it is just that one of my pet peeves for years has been guys calling their dads “the old man”. I realize you didn’t actually call your dad “the old man” but it had the same connotation to it when I read it.
Have a great day and don’t let my silly pet peeves bug you too much.

All good, not how i meant it. Like i said a younger guy would have bigger tires and straight pipes.

my dad is long past that stage. But way back when he was into that kind of thing.

Dads new truck. Nice for an old man truck
My dad just ordered a new truck also, with the new duramax jr. I picked up a new suburban with the new engine as well. Wicked mileage.

Wow… look at the range indicator….
About half a tank of fuel and it’s still at 711km..!!!

Unless of course, it has a tank similarly sized to the space shuttle …

Pretty wicked fuel economy on those 3.0s

The wife's 2.8 Dmax doesn't quite get that good in her Colorado, and those Suburbans are quite a bit bigger.

My boss regularly gets 1100-1200 km to a tank on his 2.8 dmax Colorado. Great fuel economy. However he just cooked the second tranny in about 200k. He hauls a small river jet boat with a mini 1/4 ton truck sized truck camper quite regularly to go fishing.

Best we've ever done is 1000km to a tank, but everytime we're going somewhere we want to make miles so the cruise control gets increased in trade for worse mileage.

Supposedly they get 1-1.5 l/100km better deleted, but I have no interest in trying to trade it deleted, eventually we'll outgrow it and need a full size SUV.

I've got a laundry list of parts the dealer changed on warranty, 3 turbos, def lines twice, steering box, ecu, rear main seal twice. The tranny has been solid though, but it only tows my 1500lb boat, everything else we own is too heavy for it.
