What is the vacuum hose for? Sucking up the little bit of cash that was left over after the e bike purchase?

Trust me....there is no cash left to vacuum up. Visa is still smoking. Just a hair over 9k for mine, and 5600 for nadines otd
We bought both from gericks in Nelson. They were awesome to deal with.
If you love your Evo you'll be blown away by one of these. Some of the ebikes felt weird. Like more of an electric bike than a mountain bike. The levo feels exactly like a nice full suspension mountain bike with lots of grunt. I still can't believe how much fun they are to ride. We were going up and down the hills in Nelson on our test rides like little kids

I have a theft insurance policy for all my bicycles (25k value) costs $150/year.

Is that a rider on your home policy, or a separate policy on its own? If the latter, where do you get something like that?

It's a separate policy, Home policy only covers up to 1k per bike I think.
I got it through Lambert our local agency. I can't remember who the underwriter is, will look for the paperwork.

So, I gotta ask; how far will a charged battery go?? In km or in hours?
I know it depends on the weight of the rider, the elevation gain, and possibly the temperature.

Another variable is motor output and pedal assist settings which are adjustable in eco, trail and turbo modes on the levo. Depending on how you use them and which modes you go in range is good. For example if I ride up Owlhead approx 32 Km distance out and back with about 1000 meter elevation gain on a warm summer evening I use about 20 percent battery using turbo set at 100 percent output and 80 percent assist on all the steeper climbs.

I have no experience with mine yet but was told that a guy would have a hard time killing a battery in a day. Basically said you will be done before the battery is. If you kept the assist in turbo and climbed all day it would obviously kill the battery alot sooner. One bike shop in trail told me that one of their techs did the seven summits trail in Rossland on one 500 ah battery (the smaller levo battery). That is a big ride

That sounds great. So instead of pedalling around the bottom of the Salmon Arm and a couple km on the streets by the wharf in an hour, so for the same amount of time one could do an actual sight seeing ride up a logging road.

It really depends on how hard you work the motor same as a gas motor. Elevation doesn't really matter it's how steep the elevation gain is. The steeper it is the more juice you use.
I've done 50kms ride on the Trek Rail on regular cross country trails with battery to spare. Also have done only 20 kms when the up trail grade gets steep like 9-10% on a local down hill shuttle area.

did you look at the kenevo? Big differences in the two with weight and travel. Will need to have a better look now that you peaked my interest.

Had a lengthy conversation about the kenevo with our salesman. He said it's a great bike but definitely more designed for guys pushing super hard going downhill, and doing big drops and jumps. Just test riding the levo around town I knew it was more than enough for the stuff I want to do

I do love my downhill, more is better but I find my 170 mm travel handles everything I can throw at it, but spending this kinda change best to look at all the options.
how do you find the weight. Close to 50lbs it sounds like a heavy bike to navigate going down hill and air born.

I have a norco sight vlt with a 630 watt hr battery and can get about 3 hrs of riding in turbo and climbing at a steady pace but if u had it on the lowest setting u would get double the time on one charge.
