The fix is in at all levels globally. Left leaning pressure is buckling the knees of strong conservatives. My guess is the whole world turns into a **** hole slowly and conservatism is dead. We went from a generation raising heroes i.e. Tony Beets from gold rush. to zeros i.e. Ellen from who cares.

Jason Kenney needs to stop playing mister nice guy. The federal liberals hate the oil industry and with help from Rachel notley have succeeded in bringing it to its knees. They’re not gonna say or do anything to fight the keystone shutdown. Alberta should shut down any shipments of oil and refined products to everyone in Canada except Saskatchewan for 90 days. And make it illegal to sell fuel to any vehicle other than essential vehicles from other provinces. If the rest of Canada thinks they can go without fossil fuels let them try. After 90 days, offer sell oil only to entities that have submitted detailed plans to Alberta on how they’re making their business more sustainable and carbon free. Of course these plans must be reviewed for several months to ensure they meet alberta’s ethical standards. Treat them the same way alberta industries have been treated for decades.

can’t happen. There isn’t the port , refining or pipeline capacity in eastern Canada to handle anywhere near their needs. There’s nothing going North from the states either. Virtually all the propane, butane, ethane and other NGL’s come from Alberta for home, farm and petrochemical uses. Remember how they were squealing in a matter of days when the natives cut off the railways and their propane? Even if the could buy liquefied gas products from somewhere, there’s no facilities there to offload them.

I’m Sooooo done with the east. I wish we could literally separate the land mass and just watch and wave at them pieces of trash as they floated away. Hopefully towards the biggest waterfall in existence lol. Would I ever like to see them panic due to no essential supply’s such as propane etc.

thats where your wrong, they do need our Product, they just don’t want to pay full price for it. You can’t make All products from light oil, they need heavy crude, and there are refineries set up to refine our thick black gold down on the gulf coast. So if they can make sure we have no other market to sell to, then they can “ do us a favor” and buy our oil, but at a discount of course.
