I haven't been able to do a speed test in a heavy snow event but we had a light snow of about 1cm and did not see any speed difference. Even with a small accumulation of snow on the dish. The wind has been really bad lately as well and the antenna seems to be holding up.

any updates? how are you liking the service? any major interruptions? still good uptime? no latency issues?

It’s working great. Maybe 2-5minutes per 24h of downtime. It might not be ready for hardcore gamers...yet.

Have you done a speed check with it? Any slowing down or freezing of the video?

I set one up in Revelstoke 2 days ago and the initial speed test bounced off 290Mbps and settled at 180Mbit. Averaging around 100Mbit. 10Mbit would be enough to stream HD Netflix. Ping is 25-50ms.

Are you on the pilot program Johnny? Want to get my parents on this when it’s available.

Yeah I've had it for about a month now and it's a game changer. You don't need an invite anymore if you live between the Canada/USA border and Revelstoke's Northern Latitude. 52.1 degrees north is the limit right now.

Got a email from them today, pricy, and a 15 min time limit to order, and 129 a month
