There is a tower, similar to the tower on Frisby, on the lower or first hump of the Camel's Hump mountain to the east of Lumby. I was told years ago that the tower on Frisby was a communication tower for something during the second world war. Is that true and does anyone know if the tower near Lumby is the same type?

I asked around Lumby and nobody knew about it. Most didn't even know there was a tower up there. Even a S&R guy didn't know about it.

Used to be one in Rogers Pass also, it had the word Shazbut written on it so obviously Mork from Ork has something to do with it

Yup they're radio repeaters usually for ministry of forests or ministry of transportation. The private one's like Vella's look different.
