Used Curtail on some the other day and it sure laid a whoppin on the thistles but if it doesn't kill them it is a bit pointless. Does give me time to figuer something else out though. Talked to a guy in the know and he wasn't going to stick his neck out on what I should use exspecially the evergreens. He said and I agree the time , money you invest in a shelterbelt you don't want to make a bad decision. Lol the time I have spent trying to get them dam trees started. Just about have names for each of them and not necessarily good names either.

Par III, Great product, I just sprayed my 3 1/2 acre yard yesterday. Every weed looks sick today, grass is green and happy. Clover, thistles, dandelion, and many other weeds gone. I spray twice a year, always wear a Tyvac suit and P100 respirator. Dont mix to kill elephants or you may kill your lawn. Follow directions. I have a packpack pump sprayer takes 8 tanks to do my yard and each tank I put a large Tim horton cup of Par III and one of Green with envy, mix and Spray.

I may have to adjust my rate with my backpack. Curtail seems to work good but I was at about 120 mls in a 10 litre tank. Different herbicide too though. Large tims cup must be 600 mls.

On my regular pump sprayer I put about 1/2 of a cup in the bottom so I just doubled it, Had a cup sitting there so decided to use that, lol. I didnt really see the mixture requirement, when I have the large tractor One 12 L jug lasted 3 tanks on the John deer sprayer tank. I know if you mix it too heavy you will damage your lawn for the season.
